Werqing

I can honestly say that I have learned more (socially, personally, financially, gastronomically) since graduating college than I did while still in school.  I've always rejected choosing "ignorance" for the sake of "bliss," and in its stead, I have picked up several pieces of uninvited knowledge.

(For the rec., Remy will be posting videos and video diaries with relevance to this blog.  Eventually.  Please?  Remy, are you there?)

I received some solid advice just this past week!:

"Sleep is for the weak."

(Honestly, I can't really be sure that that's what was meant.  Perhaps it was supposed to read "Sleep is for the week."  In which case, we can ignore the first iteration altogether.)

"A hat and scarf really make a big difference!"

(Agreed.  February has been a bit of a bitch.  Feigned springtime with a gentle breeze and warm sunshine, fooling innocent men while on a midday trip to pick up some 2% in his lazy shorts...only to change to an unforgiving, whipping wind and muddled snowy puddles just hours later.  A journey for innocent 2% should never be surrounded by such a cloud of dishonesty.  Chug, then discuss.)

"You should write about my obsession with LOST and my real life crush on Sawyer."

(#backhandedcomingout)

While [mostly] all those advice(s) were truly great, this one takes the cake:

"Constantly smize, have a personality, and have good posture lol."

(This feels like a combination of great advice(s): "How to be the life of a party," "how to effectively flirt while on a subway train," and "always remember to lol after everything you do because, baby, life is short, and we are young and beautiful and well and full of life!"  Brilliant.)

Remy and I didn't see each other all day because we've been so busy running around and working.  We didn't get to make communion over the LOST: The Complete Collection box set, like we usually do.  Maybe it is a sign of things to come!  What is a day of work but a day without free time anyway?  Maybe we got so much done today, that we've inadvertently freed up time in our future(s)!

(Remy, if you're reading this, please know that I will do my dishes just as soon as I'm not sleeping or at work.)

Now, I know, I know.  We weren't the only ones dressing up and going out in the morning to do a very important job.  Remy and I dedicate this day to all the groundhogs out there for making it possible that their shadows could be so illusive as to afford us an early spring.  This is VICTORY against February as we now know it!

It is worthy of note that we got our electric bill today...and it was a tad steep.  You know, just two bros turning off lights now.  Gonna get our GREEN on!  Please also make an effort.  If you see a light on in our apartment, help us turn it off any way you can.  We enjoy creative solutions.

Hour long subway rides to and from Harlem and customers with NEEDS need not get in the way of our prosperity and well-being!  That is why we welcome all kinds of advice(s).  Please feel free to submit your advice for critique.

For now...our dailys:

Daily Drink: The Ghostbuster
Daily Activities: Working, werqing, turning off lights
Daily Icon: Jenna Maroney, for her work in the play, film, and musical The Rural Juror

We want you all to know that we are just two bros who want to give back to the world.  In that vein, here is some advice for you:

"Whether or not you saw your shadow today, act as if every day is the start of spring."

(Alright, yeah!  Okay!)

Love, Bitches, and Free Drinks,

TWO BROS
